Hi, I’m Nellya Schumpert. I'm a marketing leader, Health & Wellness Coach, and CBT counselor

I grew up in Russia, where I developed a love for languages, communication, and understanding people. I studied English and French from a young age, and at 20, I moved to New York City on my own to pursue a degree in Journalism.

Sports have always been a big part of my life. I grew up playing tennis and went on to compete as a collegiate athlete, serving as captain of my college tennis team and earning multiple MVP awards. Tennis taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of consistent effort—lessons that continue to shape the way I approach both life and work.

After graduating, I built a career in marketing and have spent more than a decade building brands and leading strategic marketing initiatives across luxury retail, hospitality, and experiential brands.

Alongside my professional career, I've always been fascinated by health, wellness, psychology, and human behavior. My own personal journey inspired me to become a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and pursue advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

In 2020, amid the uncertainty of the pandemic, I created Treatuals—a space where I could combine my passion for psychology, personal growth, and evidence-based practices with my desire to help others build more intentional, resilient lives.

Today, I continue to lead marketing for global brands while building Treatuals—a space where I explore the intersection of psychology, intentional living, and personal growth through practical tools, reflections, and daily rituals.

The practice of treatuals

Treatuals began with a simple realization: life will always bring uncertainty, setbacks, transitions, and challenges. We can't always control what happens to us, but we can choose how we respond.

For years, I searched for confidence through achievement, appearance, and external validation. Eventually, I realized that lasting change wasn't about becoming someone new—it was about building a stronger relationship with myself. That became the foundation of Treatuals.

Treatuals is the practice of treating yourself well—not as an act of indulgence, but as an act of responsibility. It's about becoming your own best friend. It's about reclaiming your agency.

It's about intentionally choosing thoughts, habits, and actions that reflect the person you're becoming.

I believe confidence isn't something we're born with—it's something we build. Resilience isn't something we either have or don't have—it's something we practice. And self-trust grows every time we keep the promises we make to ourselves.

The reflections, rituals, and tools you'll find here aren't meant to offer quick fixes or perfect answers. They're invitations to pause, become more intentional, and return to yourself—again and again.

Because the goal isn't to avoid life's challenges. The goal is to become the kind of person who can meet them with clarity, courage, and compassion.

That's the practice of Treatuals.

Core principles

Mission

My mission is to build a community of people committed to becoming the best versions of themselves—not through perfection, but through intentional daily action. By sharing my own journey openly, I hope to inspire others to lead with courage, take responsibility for their lives, and discover what's possible when they consistently show up for themselves.
